Hi I am a Physical therapist on H4.
company A wants to sponsor my h1. I have physical therapist license from STATE A and Letter from State B that they do not issue license without ssn no ( and i have letter from credentialing body also saying i meet all requirements for licensure for STATE B,I also have visa screen and other required documents.
can company A file An H1 with multiple LCAS - 2 states, so H1 is issued for 3 years
What service centre would the application go to-the one for which i have license of the one for which i have letter from board (ssn needed for license).
Once the h1 is approved can i work in any of the 2 states.
How long is the H1b taking to get approved if filed in regular processing and say no rfe is recieved
What problems could the approval face
Thanks

Hi
My I140 has been denied 2 times. 1st time was in EB3 Professional and 2nd was in EB3 Skilled worker category. I am not sure the reason for the 2nd denial since I am waiting for the notice letter.
I urgently need an attorney who has recently cleared a few cases with 3 year degree (only 3 year degree not combination with Masters / Diploma etc)
If you are someone who has 3 year degree and recently got approval, please IM me your attorney's details.
Thanks
I have 3 years degree and 1 year diploma. My labor was approved in 2007 under RIR. My company attorney was Cyrus Mehta at that time.

Yes thats a good suggestion. We need more people than whose GC is stuck. One issue is motivating them. I was almost shocked to see the indifference of many immigrants some of them who went through the same process very recently. I came here almost 10 years ago as a student and many of my friends got GCs/citizenship (they had their own hassles but now its over). When I talk to them what is going on now they simply express surprise over how/why I didnt get it even now and forget it. But I dont feel bad to remind them again to visit this site or something else and do something (sending faxes /talking to their employers / contributing money/ whatever they can). My point is dont expect an immediate action from any, even friends especially if this does not affect them; but dont let this discourage you. Engage them in a discussion most of them already know the terminology like retrogession/140/485/labor etc remind them their own process and how difficult it was and how finally there is a systematic effort to do something about it. I am sure at least some people will respond favorably.
There is so much momentum right now; if we miss this we know the consequences.

Hi All,
Earlier USCIS has announced a fee hike from this month end. Ideally they should extend that fee hike till Aug 17th.
Anyone got any clues?
Thank You
Rajesh Alex
Here is the update from USCIS:
http://www.aila.org/content/default.aspx?docid=22912
As per the memo, they accept I-485, EAD and AP applications with old fee till 08/17

Hi All,
I am here in US on a H1B and my wife is on a H4. She recently got admission to a graduate school and has to start next week. I am worried that if I get her COS for the next semester (this is a 1 year program), then woud she be eligible to get her OPT at the end of the program? She would have been on a F1 for less than a year, but would have completed the Master's program.
I tried to get more information, but what I saw was that the OPT eligiblility requirement is atleast 1 full academic year on F1. Is this correct?
Help is greatly appreciated.
I am in the similar boat, don't worry your wife can always take etc classes as electives, and complete her one year. You can always pick etc classes, and make sure you remain in legal F1 visa status.

yes, in general as per law, you have to file tax returns to both states.
But most of the desi-employers try to use same state that they used first part of year and continue with that till end of year. But in the next year, they start with new state. This happens all the time with most of the desi-employers. There is no problem. You are not skipping any taxes, it is your employer's responsibility. If your employer says, he is working here and paying state taxes, then thats it, nobody can't say/argue anything.
It is partly my fault as I should have noticed when I started a new project in end August in South Carolina.
But now looking at my W2 it shows that my employer has been filing taxes in my previous state Missouri for the entire year. How should I go about correcting this? I was in Missouri for 5 months and in South Carolina for the remainder. In which state should I file my tax too?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Nikon was most popular among the pros photographers during the 1970s and that finding has led me to choose it for my 35mm equipment.
One of the major advantage is its system ability to use old lenses for its newer bodies. Moreover accessories for the camera bodies are easily available in the local photo retail outlets.
The lesson learned from the D2h could have gone into the making of the D70 along side with their surprise attempt in the huge advertising spending (TV and other various media) in launching the product.
Perhaps it could have been a shortsighted affair to aim the D2h only for the PJs. Nikon could have been holding the flag up when the camera could be in the hands of millions of advanced serious amateurs including the many part-time professional photographers world-wide. Not to say the huge market in China could have been overlooked by their thinking engineers!
What about the millions of part-time and full time photographers doing weddings and other assignments who would wish that the D2h is an 8 MPs. where large enlargements are required.
The D70 has brought many loyal consumers to stop discarding the old Nikon lenses. In fact their current aggressive marketing attitude has seemingly brought a smile back to many previous happy Nikon users.
My next wish is for Nikon to design and produce another DSLR by carefully listening to users of their equipment. Not to say that just by assumming that all PJs only need is 4 MPs is wrong because that can be a decoy in their planning too. More to watch from the factory that was set up to produce the D70 in Thailand! I am sure Nikon will not disappoint DSLR users with many more surprises in the very future.
